About me!

Hi! I'm Rebecca (or just Becca!), and I'm currently a fourth year student in the 3D Animation & VFX program at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City. I'm proficient in a variety of software, including Autodesk Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Adobe Creative Suite, Nuke, and Marvelous Designer. My greatest passions consist of anything to do with characters, from design to modeling to animation. I’m currently having a lot of fun learning Unreal Engine and Houdini! Before transferring to SVA I studied mechanical engineering, and math and technology will always be my first love. I bring an analytical mindset and technical expertise into my creative work, ensuring both precise and efficient workflow and strong artistic direction. I’m comfortable working in Python and Javascript, and am currently learning C++. I’m currently working on my senior thesis film, titled “Root Note”, which I’m directing and producing! I am also responsible for the character modeling, rigging, animation, lighting, compositing, and editing of the film. For a bit of insight into the project, check out our Instagram, @rootnotethesis!

I find inspiration in the passion of those around me. Seeing the way others push artistic boundaries motivates me to refine my own voice and artistry. Bold, beautifully stylized indie games and films that challenge industry norms drive me to be innovative and create projects that feel immersive and full of life. In my free time, I absolutely love drawing, baking, watching anime, and really anything creative. I love sharing my fanart online on Tiktok!
